Computer Repair
Maybe TJ has a future in computer repair? He helped Daddy take apart an old computer tonight.
Playing in the Sand
TJ loves playing in the sand at the park. He begs Mommy to take him to the park almost every day. We finally decided to get him his own sandbox, but as you can see he has a hard time keeping the sand inside the turtle.
Riverbanks Zoo
TJ and Daddy loved feeding the Lorikeets. It's hard to capture TJ's excitement at being so close to these birds with just one picture. A friend of ours took this picture becasue our own camera girl wouldn't come into the enclosure with us. She was being a Sissy, last year a Lorikeet pooped on her head. (

Every Parent's Nightmare
We've had days like this. Good God, Lord in heaven, etc.
Last night at dinner we had a hard time convincing Leta that her food wasn't going to burn a hole in her skin. Each time I brought a spoon of applesauce to her mouth she blocked me with both hands and a flimsy interpretation of someone who is having her tongue forcibly ripped from her mouth.
You've got to read the entire story as Heather tells it. Too funny!
(Maybe someday I'll write up a funny store like this about TJ.)
Henry Warmheart
This bear was expensive, but it's been a good investment. It contains flax seeds and lavendar. You heat it up in the microwave and it's supposed to help children calm down before bed. Best $26 bucks I've spent lately. It really does help him calm down and sleep better.

Babytalk "honors" the most anti-mom celebs of '05
This year was rife with celebrities preaching and practicing all things anti-mom. Here, we award the worst offenders a fragrant trophy. Click through for the stinkiest diaper of them all! (via Blogging Baby)
Child's Morning Prayer
Now, before I run to play,
Let me not forget to pray
To God who kept me through the night
And waked me with the morning light.
Help me, Lord, to love thee more
Than I ever loved before,
In my work and in my play
Be thou with me through the day.
Amen.

Halloween Costume
This year, we decided to dress TJ as a "Fun Size" package of
M&M's. The costume making effort was shared by our entire family. Auburn cut out the pieces, Rachel helped paint the M's on the
back of the costume and I supervised the whole assembly process.
