They could afford to give us Bush’s complete $750 billion dollar tax cut if they didn’t belly up to the trough as much.

CNSNews.com: “A Newsweek report on the gambling habit of conservative commentator Bill Bennett was making the media rounds on Monday. According to Newsweek, Bennett – who wrote The Book of Virtues – has bet millions of dollars over the last decade.

What’s the big deal? Gambling is not illegal. Some might consider it immoral, but look at all the Catholic churches that have legal gambling in their fellowship halls on a Friday night. It’s called Bingo. We have legal gambling here in our state. The so-called “Education Lottery.”

Which one of us does not have our own vice? Who are we to criticize. Bill Bennett has done nothing wrong.

I’m stunned too. A dangerous, venemous snake has more rights than an innocent unborn baby. The entire endangered/threatened species act needs to be completely re-written. It’s ridiculous. I can see maybe fining this guy a few hundred bucks, but jail time isn’t called for.
