Even the Liberals

Say Establishment Media’s Iraq Reporting Biased

[Topic: Media Bias] Democrats on the House Armed Services Committee returned from a recent tour of Iraq with a message for the American people: The establishment media is presenting a biased and unnecessarily negative portrayal of the military and political progress in the newly freed Middle East nation.

I had someone ask in a comment “Please describe to me how the media is ultra liberal.” Then this perfect example came along. They’re so biased, they’re faking reports to make Dubya look bad. Maybe “faking reports” is too strong. The ultra-liberal media is only reporting on “the down side.”

Progressive Suckers

[Topic: Media Bias] CNSNews.com: “It’s turning up more and more in political rhetoric and news coverage – the political label ‘progressive’ as a substitute for ‘liberal.’ As CNSNews.com Executive Editor Scott Hogenson points out, it’s a term that preys on the uninformed in the hope of swaying voters to a radical, socialist agenda.

This is so true. They always label conservatives as right-wing zealots, but they’re trying to dress liberals up in a shiny new word. Just more deception from the ultra-liberal media.

Journal Movies
  1. If you had the chance to get a role in a movie (past or present),
what part and in which movie would you like to play?

I think I’d like to play Darth Vader. I’m too ugly to play any of
the other lead roles in Star Wars. It would be fun to play Inigo
Montoya, but my Spanish accent may not be convincing enough. “‘Ello. My
name is Inigo Montoya. You killda my father. Prepare to die.” (script)

  2. Which movie have you seen the most? How many times have you seen it?

    The Princess Bride.
I probably watched it 20 or more times in college. I’m married with a
7-year-old girl now and it’s one of her favorites too. We’ve probably
watched it a dozen times together.
