Snip: The Supreme Court rejected an appeal Tuesday from an atheist father over Boy Scout recruiting at his son’s public school. John Scalise had asked the court to bar public schools from opening their doors to Boy Scout recruiters and promoting membership, arguing that the group discriminates against nonreligious boys and parents by denying them membership if they don’t swear to religious oaths. Michigan courts ruled that the school-Scout partnership did not advance religion in violation of constitutional dictates

Snip: Hofstra students use boos responsibly. Did you hear about the college commencement speaker who was almost booed off the stage Sunday because his commencement address was an anti-Bush rant? The speaker was E.L. Doctorow. The college, God bless it forever, was Hofstra University on New York’s Long Island.

I believe they should ban scouts from recruiting in public high schools…..
as soon as they ban homosexuals from doing the same.
