  • Can voters wear their preference on their sleeves?

    For years county election officials have asked voters wearing campaign buttons or T-shirts to remove or cover up before allowing them to vote. Now, the Bureau of Commissions, Elections and Legislation, says voters who literally wear their preferences on their sleeves should not be prevented from voting.

    I hope they get their acts together soon.  I plan on wearing a very political T-shirt that doesn’t support a candidate but does slam one.
  • Democrats’ bill ripped as a waste of time

    The White House slammed an energy bill that the House of Representatives passed Tuesday night, calling it a waste of time. The administration accused House Democrats of lacing the bill with “poison pills” that demonstrate a “lack of seriousness about expanding access to the vast domestic energy resources” off U.S. coasts.

    Stop screwin’ around Nancy and pass some meaningful legislation!
  • Obama mocks McCain in Nevada stops

    “I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,” he said.

    Great, that’s the last thing I need.  If some worshiper of the Obamessiah gets in my face, I’ll blast right back at them.
