Is Big Labor Done with the Democratic Party?

The folks over at Gawker must be joking.

The Obama administration is the most pro-union administration, ever! Just look what his appointees on the NLRB are trying to do to Boeing. In a situation where not a single union job will be lost, the NLRB is trying to tell Boeing they can’t manufacture airplanes in South Carolina. (In fact, Boeing is actively increasing the number of union workers in Washington.)

Unions health plans are being exempted from most of the requirements being imposed on everybody else under ObamaCare.

The bailout of GM was done to protect union jobs.

Wait, I better check the date. Maybe it’s April 1st?

Debt Ceiling Deal Reached To Avert Default

Congressio­nal leaders are lying about the backroom deal they cut to raise the debt ceiling and “cut spending.” The “spending cuts” are not cuts, they’re just smaller increases than originally planned. We need zero baseline budgeting, not “beltway math.” Obama is lying about no tax increases. Debt deal assumes the “Bush Tax Cuts” will expire in 2013. That’s at least a $1.2 trillion tax increase baked into the deal.

Hoyer Backs Using 14th Amendment To End Debt Crisis

Imagine it’s 2006. Now imagine the outcry from liberals if Republican­s were urging Dubya to invoke the 14th Amendment so he could spend unlimited amounts of money on the unjust wars in Iraq and Afghanista­n. (Wars which Obama promised to end by now.) Why are things different now that their guy is in the Whitehouse and he wants unlimited money to spend on wasteful domestic programs?
