Penn State Football Coach Removed By Board Of Trustees After Scandal
JoPa is getting the shaft! It’s all about internal university politics. There are some who wanted to fire him long ago, but the knew that wasn’t popular because he’s so popular. His guaranteed salary is over $1 million, so Penn State will save a lot of cash by firing him. Follow the money!
This week was a great start to the 2011 NFL season! The season started on the 10th Anniversary of 9-11 and the teams paid tribute to those who were lost and all first responders. Cyndi Lauper flubbed the National Anthem at the U.S. Open so NFL fans were spared that indignity.
I’m happy because the Eagles won their season opener! Michael Vick showed us all why he deserves a $100 million contract. The Eagles defense was just as good as the offense by sacking Sam Bradford 5 Times.
What would happen if Obama scheduled a speech to a joint session of Congress and nobody showed up? After all, the first NFL football game of the season is on the same night. Who cares about a jobs speech (which will probably be a repeat of old ideas) when it’s finally Football Season!
The Birds lost to them in the first week of the season, but that was a very long time ago. Kevin Kolb started the game but was knocked out in the 1st half. Michael Vick came in and finished out the game with impressive stats, but couldn’t quite close the deal. They lost by just one touchdown. Continue reading
I’ve gotta say, that was the most entertaining Monday Night Football game I’ve seen in a long while. (If you’re an Eagles fan of course, not so much if you’re a Redskins fan.) Michael Vick and the Eagles broke all kinds of records.
To all you Michael Vick haters out there, take that! The man knows how to play football! Of course, the O-line helped out a lot by giving him seven or eight seconds to find a receiver in some cases. When he couldn’t pass, he scrambled effectively and gained a lot of yards on the ground himself.
