should be tried as American traitor

I said the same thing about Benedict Arnett three days ago. Now if we can just get Ashcroft to sign the arrest warrant. No need to go after him, wherever he might be. Just let him know he’ll be arrested if he ever tries to come back to America.

“We all firmly believe in the First Amendment which protects the freedom of religion, speech, press and assembly. However, no U.S. citizen should be allowed to provide aid, and comfort, through false information, to the enemy during wartime.”

Sen. Jim Bunning, R-Ky.

Remarks by the President to the Right for Life 2003 Rally on the National
Mall Via Telephone From St. Louis, Missouri

Well, thank you, Nellie. I want to thank you very much for including me
in the celebration of life. I want to thank the good folks there on the Mall
today. I’m calling you from St. Louis, Missouri. I know there are some from
Missouri there and, like many others, you’ve made great sacrifices to come
to Washington today. A lot of you have ridden buses all night long and I
know you’re braving the cold. And I admire your perseverance and I admire
your devotion to the cause of life.

Civil Miseducation

On the anniversary of MLK’s birth, Joseph Farah tells us “I have a dream, too.* One part of that dream is to “stop miseducating kids at every turn.”

They learn that “civil rights are the freedoms and rights that a person has as a member of a community, state or nation.” That’s what Scholastic magazine, distributed through schools all over the country, published three years ago. “In the U.S., these rights are guaranteed to all citizens by the Constitution and acts of Congress.”

That is not true. Civil rights, America’s founders taught us so well, are God-given, unalienable rights. They don’t descend from government. They are not given out through acts of Congress. They cannot be invented by man. They are inherent, universal, permanent.

Conscience Clause

law like this. It just shows how much influence radical
pro-abortion groups like NARAL and the NAG’s have on America
today. Pro-abortionists aren’t satisfied with legal abortions.
They want abortions to be available on every street corner.
That may sound like hyperbole, but they want any woman, even a
minor girl, to be able to walk into a drugstore and purchase
“emergency contraception” without a prescription. Doctors,
nurses, pharmacists and other health care workers shouldn’t be
forced to provide abortion and abortifacients.

Teachers v. Administrators

Education

I just read an
article about the “education lobby” in America. The educrats’ universal slogan
is “do it for the children.” Which really means “steal more
money out of taxpayers pockets to pour into useless programs.”
Of course, whenever you start up one of these new programs you
need a new “administrator.” Administrators don’t spend time
with students and their usefulness can be called into question.
In some schools, the administrators are approaching a 1:1 ratio
with teachers. That’s unacceptable!
