Could America use a few Lessons in Liberty?

Bob Barr says America could use a few Lessons in Liberty! After what I’ve seen the past few weeks with government bailouts, bank takeovers, voter fraud and more, I’m inclined to agree with him. I may just have to vote Libertarian again in November. The only incumbent I can vote for is my own Congressman, Todd Platts, who voted against the bailout.

This billboard was just put up in downtown Harrisburg this week.

I really don’t know how to react to it. As a Libertarian, I say they have a right to put up whatever billboard they’re willing to pay for. As a Christian, I’m deeply offended by the Freedom From Religion Foundation. As an American I point to the First Amendment which guarantees freedom of religion, but does not guarantee freedom from religion.

Debate Protest

Remember way back in 2000 during the Presidential election campaign? They held a debate in Winston-Salem, NC at Wake Forest University. I was there protesting the exclusion of my candidate, The Libertarian Party‘s Harry Browne. I didn’t realize until today, that my first-hand account was published on the LPNC web site. (Look for my name about two-thirds of the way down the page.)
