Bob Barr says America could use a few Lessons in Liberty! After what I’ve seen the past few weeks with government bailouts, bank takeovers, voter fraud and more, I’m inclined to agree with him. I may just have to vote Libertarian again in November. The only incumbent I can vote for is my own Congressman, Todd Platts, who voted against the bailout.
This billboard was just put up in downtown Harrisburg this week.
I really don’t know how to react to it. As a Libertarian, I say they have a right to put up whatever billboard they’re willing to pay for. As a Christian, I’m deeply offended by the Freedom From Religion Foundation. As an American I point to the First Amendment which guarantees freedom of religion, but does not guarantee freedom from religion.
Remember way back in 2000 during the Presidential election campaign? They held a debate in Winston-Salem, NC at Wake Forest University. I was there protesting the exclusion of my candidate, The Libertarian Party‘s Harry Browne. I didn’t realize until today, that my first-hand account was published on the LPNC web site.
