production support for downstream business units.

American Express. This CFS application runs on

Worked on a team that rewrote the Order
Fulfillment system. Old code using COBOL with
C-ISAM files was re-written to use C++ and an
Oracle database. The Order Fulfillment system
is responsible for tracking all products
ordered from the time the orders are received
at a SLH distribution center to the time the
product is actually shipped to the customer.
The system also keeps track of billing and
shipping information for transfer to other SLH
systems.

Developed On-Board computer software for the
Trucking Industry. Our main application is used to
display and gather information about a driver's
pickup and delivery route. It shows the driver
what his schedule is and collects speed, mileage
and other data in real-time throughout the day. A
part of this software involves embedded systems
that interface with the engine, brakes and
hydraulic lift on the truck. The software is also
able to send real-time messages to a dispatcher at
a ground station system. This software is written
in C++ and is developed on a PC running Windows
'95 and runs on Eaton developed hardware under
MS-DOS. The user interfaces to this system with a
touch screen.

ToolBox.( This is a software development kit
that allows customers who want to purchase
Eaton's On-Board Computers to develop their own
software. It is developed in C++ and
distributed to customers as a library file.

The DCS is a system that uploads data from the
DIAD's and sends the data to UPS mainframe
computers. It runs on the OS/2 operating system
and it is programmed in C and C++.

payments. It scanned loan coupons and checks
and then uploaded payment information to a
mainframe computer. This system ran on an
AT&T 3B2 computer running UNIX. The
software was coded in C with embedded SQL and
used an Oracle database.

Library of Congress that is used to order
documents from a series of menus that narrows
down the document choices for the customer. The
system ran on a PC with a modified version of
UNIX. The system is programmed in a proprietary
language used exclusively for Telephony
applications.
