Wired News: "New fuel-efficient vehicles are headed for market, paving the way for people who drive everywhere to do a little less damage to the environment. Ford even has an SUV in the hybrid category. By John Gartner."
Now this is an environmentally friendly car I could love. An SUV that runs on electric in the city but can run on a gas engine if you ever actually take it off the road. Notice Ford isn't doing this because the government is making them do it. They're doing it because they think it'll sell.
